Mr. Aaron Leroy Helms was born January 16, 1983 in Tampa, Florida to Billy D. and Mary L. Helms. He was a 2001 graduate ofBlake High School. While attending high school he also played football for Blake High School. He was employed by the International Longshoremens Association. Leroy loved, laughed and lived life to the fullest; always keeping family and friends close. He was a loving son, a loyal brother,and a dedicated father. He always encouraged his daughter, Arravane"t 'Lala' Helms, with these words, 'If you believe it, she can achieve itand the sky was a milestone to go beyond."

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lula Mae Helms and Grover Helms Paternal & Maternal grandparents, Fannie Mae Reynolds-Edwards and Timonthy Calhoun. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his beloved daughter Arravane't 'Lala' Helms loving parents, Billy D, and Mary Helms; brothers, Dewayne Helms (Sheila), Billy J. Helms, Derrick Helms (Denika), Gary Helms (Valerie); sisters, Betina L. Helms andSheena Helms. Also, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
