Homegoing celebration for Mr. Abram Harris, Jr. who passed away Monday, May 12, 2013 will be held Saturday, May 17th at 2:00 p.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel , 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, FL Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. Interment will follow. Abram Harris, Jr. was born February 5, 1950 to the late Abram and Willie Mae Harris in Anniston, Alabama. He loved to fish, hunt, play chess and basketball. He also loved going on family vacations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abram and Willie Mae (Latham) Harris and brother, Ronald F. Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories with wife, Darris (Green) Harris; children, Marsha L. Morman (Mike), Abram Harris III (Trina), Theresa Harris, Jarbar C. Harris and Katrina Gilyard; step-daughters, Dessiree Green, Maya Burton, Lakeisha Mason and Patina Green; grandchildren, Sharonda V. Harris, Diquan T. Harris, Marcus J. Morman, Abriana Welch, Malik J. Harris and Donterrious M. Jefferson; brother, Abram Earl Horne; sisters. Dorothy A. Harris, Grace L. Grant and Romena Almond and best friend, Barbara J. Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.
