A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Adrian D. Chapman, Sr., of Valrico, Florida who passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009, will be held Saturday, March 21st, 11:00 a.m. at New First Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3707 E. Chelsea St., Rev. Clyde McNell, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Adrian was born July 1, 1986 in Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the Hillsborough County School System. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Thelma Mitchell-James; grandfather, Mitchell James, Sr., paternal grandfather, Willie Chapman, Sr., and aunt, Yolanda James. He was quiet, gentle and affectionately known to all that loved him as "A-boo". He enjoyed sharing time with his children and family. Adrian leaves fond memories with: his children, 3 sons, Adrian, Jr., Willie and Gabriel Chapman; daughter, Kathy James-Chapman and their mother, Eboney Mickens; a devoted mother, Kathy James-Waddy and step-father, Willie; father, Bruce Chapman, Sr. and step-mother, Sandra; brother, Bruce Chapman, Jr.; 2 sisters, Alyssa and Anjaliyah Chapman; grandmother, Ella Rose Chapman; a host of aunts and uncles, Glorie Mae Joseph (John), Amy Pearl James, Patricia Deloch, Deborah James, Jacqueline Sharrieff (Nuriddin), Marion Rivera (Manuel), Cynthia Washington (Reginald), Jean Pugh, Joseph James (Patsy), Kenneth James, Gerald Mitchell, Sr., Mitchell James, Jr., Larry James (Sandra), Donna McCloud (Derrick), Donald Ray, Randall James, Jackie Chapman (Elizabeth), Oliver Chapman, Charles Chapman (Sandra), Benjamin Chapman (LaShawndra), Eric Chapman (Adrianne), Terry King, Kevin Acree, Frank Daniels, Cassandra James (Larry) and Valerie Chapman; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening. The funeral cortege will arrange from 1135 69th Street So.
