Alana, affectionately "Lana" was born on February 13, 2000, in Tampa, FL., to Carlos Pinero and Shahlevi Sims. She loved spending time with her son, which was her hobby and favorite activity.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Elijah Sims.

She leaves precious memories with her parents, Carlos Pinero and Shahlevi Sims; son, Yazan Sims; brother, Carlos Pinero, Jr.; sisters, Shayla Sims, Ryannah Pinero, and CarliAnna Pinero; great-grandmother, Susie Sims; grandmothers, Sherry Sims, and Susan Luckey; uncles, Mitchell Herak, and Chris Anderson; aunts, Sonjia Sims, Michelle Anderson, Shawna Herak, and Shannon Disgdiertt; nephew, Carter Harris; nieces, Lyla and Leia Vega; the Monroe, Larry, Matthew, and Mitchell families; and a host of other relatives and friends.
