A homegoing service for Mr. Albert Richard Lee Bass, Jr. 'Bobo' of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016, will be held on Saturday, July 30th, 2:00 p.m. at Holy Outreach for Christ, 7935 N. Armenia Ave., Dr. Ala-Faye Nelson-Vickers, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Albert Richard Lee Bass, Jr. was born January 22, 1956 to the late Albert Richard Lee Bass, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Callahan in Tampa, Florida. He attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. He was employed by Alford Construction Company for over 20 years. He was a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Florida State Seminoles. He enjoyed playing pool, dominoes, spades and grilling for his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Lucille Byrd McGirth, Martha Moore Callahan and Hezekiah Callahan, Sr.; uncle, Hezekiah Callahan, Jr.; niece, Patricia Johnson; nephews, Terry Telfair and Cedric Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving fiance, Loshell D. Green; children, Demetrious Bass, Sr. (Kaleena), Laquisha, Lashawnda, Laquita and Tamarick Bass; grandchildren, Demetrious Bass, Jr., Chris, Jr., Kanee, and Cameron Murray, Jasirie, Kamaria and D'Angelo Bass, Demecia Mays, Antonia, Antoinella, Assata and Antoine, Jr.Henderson; sisters, Barbara Bass Johnson, Norma Hall Marshall, Melinda Ann Hall, Olivia Bass Wilson, Kathy Bass-Murrillo and Tewana Sanders; aunt, Kim Speights; nieces, Cheryl Johnson, Evelyn Hall and Candice Murrillo; nephews, Micheal Telfair, Patrick Jones, Cory Wilson (Candice), Maximo Murrillo, Kahlil Edwards and Anthony McCallum; great nephew, Camryn Green; great nieces, Gladys Johnson, Caileigh Wilson, Kelmani Murillo and Cahmoni Maxwell; childhood friend, Tony York; cousin and friend, Teresa Watson (Bird); friend, Traven Flowers; and a host of other sorrowing family members and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, July 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
