Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Albert Williams of Tampa who passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 will be held Saturday March 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, officiating. Albert Williams was born December 27, 1914 to the late Alfred and Alberta Williams. He was a good handy man who loved working around the house and reading. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Alberta Williams; sisters, Eva Story, Sadie Way and Anita Howard; niece, Bernice Hamilton; son, Albert Williams, Jr., brothers, Ernest Williams and Henry Williams. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with daughter, Tonya Williams; sister, Melenese Bradley; nieces, Eloise Hayes of Philadelphia, PA; grandnieces, Pamela McDuffie, Diane McDuffie, and Zakieah Sanders; grand nephews, Robert, Jeremy, Jibraile and Jermaine Shabazz; sister-in-law, Annie Pearl Williams of Philadelphia, PA; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held Friday, March 8th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
