A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Alberta McCullough of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016, will be held on Saturday, May 21st, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 2002 N. Rome Ave, Rev. Clayton Kirkland, pastor; Rev. Zachery S. Hudson pastor of Re-Birth M.B. Church, officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Alberta was a longtime member of Re-Birth Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and attending water aerobics classes at Shapes fitness center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Daughtry, Sr. and Martha Daughtry; son, Carlton McCullough, Sr.; brother, Willie Daughtry, Jr.; sister, Idora Young and grandson, Harold Nelson, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband of 62 years, Sylvester McCullough, Sr.; children, Sylvester McCullough, Jr. (Theresa), Martha Jones, Gwendolyn Russ (Earnie, Sr.), Oral McCullough, Sr., Jessie McCullough, Eddie McCullough (Robyn), Tina Watts (niece) and Rosalind Woodside (Anthony); grandchildren, Jermaine, Marquis, Marcus, Leroy, Leon, Deion, Anitris, Aurn, Jr. Walter, Adolphus, Willie, Cory, Oral, Jr., Ellissa, Leticia, Carlton Jr., Konika, Joshua, Tia, Richard, Jessica, Keirsten, Sherreka, Ventonyia, Phil, Ashley, Lauretta, Lakeisha and Adrian; a host of great grandchildren; sister, Ida Mae Young; a host of other nieces, nephews and godchildren; sisters-in-law, Vennie Bell Daughtry and Ora Mae Green; brother-in-law, Samuel McCullough (Hazel); special friends, Rugenia Meeks, Yvonne Waters, Mariam Williams and Rosalind Woodside (Anthony); prayer minister and members, Mary E. May; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
