A Homegoing Celebration for our dear mother, Alice Marie Jeffery who departed this earthy life and entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday morning December 28, 2014 will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Hope of Shiloh Community Church, 3910 East Conover Street, Elder Robert E. Benn, Sr. pastor, officiating. The interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Midway, Florida. She was a native of Midway, Florida and a longtime resident of Tampa, Florida. She leaves to cherish her memories with 4 sons, Frederick Bevel, Sr., Tyrone Cowart, Otis Dudley and Timothy Cowart all of Tampa, Florida; 2 daughters, Janet Muse Knight (Harold) of Midway, Florida and Arsie Lee Bevel of Tampa, Florida; 10 grandchildren, Frederick Bevel, Jr. (Jennifer), Anthony Jeffery, Jr. (De Santis), Otis Jeffery, Chris Cowart, Ronald Cowart, Katina Dudley Wright (Leonard) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Antwaun Jeffery, Chondra Cowart, Tyronette Cowart and Temple Cowart all of Tampa;1 sister, Naomi Perdue of Eatonville, FL; 1 brother, Elton Jeffery of Tampa; 1 brother-in-law, Frank Newman, Sr., of Midway, Florida; and a host of loving great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and special caring friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 9th, from 5 to 8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to service at the church. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the funeral service.
