A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Alice Peoples Pugh of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 will be held Saturday, November 2nd, 12:30 p.m. at New Testament Missionary Baptist Church, 11503 Walker Rd., Pastor Al Gallon, officiating. The interment will be held in Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, Florida. Alice Peoples Pugh was born June 5, 1918 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Bandy and Sally Peoples. She attended New Testament M.B. Church and was a member of the Eastern Star Organization. Alice enjoyed gardening, she loved flowers and her favorite color was blue. She also enjoyed being the treasurer at her home church for many years and missed it when she could no longer attend. She was funny, loving and had special relationships among her children, grandchildren and friends that stayed in touch. She looked forward to her daily phone calls from her granddaughter, Lori and being spoiled by her son, Joe. She enjoyed times talking to her sister on the phone and visits from all her friends and family. Michelle Peacock has been taken care of her like her own grandmother for the past 4 years, a special thanks. She enjoyed trips to the doctor just to see Dr. Bermudez and to get Burger King on the way back. She was preceded in death by her husband, Min. Phillip Pugh; her children, Phillip Pugh, Jr., Sallie Mae 'Sister' Augustine, Tossie Lee Pugh and adopted daughter, Carol Poche. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her son, Joe Nathan, Charles and Milliard Pugh; daughters, Minnie Lee and Adella Pugh; grandchildren, Alice, Steven, Gary, Keisha, JJ, Stacey, Kendall, Cookie, Charmaine, Lori, Tommy, Tamera, Victor, Alex, Bo, Danielle, Cherita, Charity, Zoe, Debra, Bruh, Jimmy, Curtis 'Pee Wee', Gaynella, Chris, Rose, Kathy, Maxine, Willie, Philip, Paula, Bernice and Pebbles; brothers, Hazel and Walker Peoples; sister, Mary Peoples and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, November 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
