Obituary

Ms. Alice Maude Webley, affectionately known as "Aunt Ivy" was born on December 12th 1926 to parents Rosa and Arthur Williams; in Topsham Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies. She was educated at Nazareth Elementary School and attended Nazareth Moravian Church. Alice was a loveable, friendly, humble and meek woman. Her family and friends thought the world of her. She was a virtuous woman, very soft spoken and a woman of peace. Alice left Manchester in the sixties for Kingston, Jamaica where she worked as a seamstress. She also, met David Webley in Kingston and married in 1972. She migrated to the United States in 1973, where she lived in Brooklyn, NY and worked for many years as a Home Care Attendant. Upon retiring, she and her husband moved to Florida in 1989. Alice was a gentle soul who was highly loved by everyone that crossed her path; she will be sincerely missed and never forgotten. She leaves to mourn: adopted daughter/neice-Winnie, brothers: John, Buster & Fredrick; Sisters: Isabelle, Nellie, and Winnifred. Host of nieces and nephews; grand nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws and a lots of friends.
