Alice Adina Young Aydelotte was born on June 5, 1951 in Yallas, St.Thomas, Jamaica. Alice was the daughter of the late Alphanso Young and Anesta Whyte. Alice spent her life as a caregiver and homemaker. Her lifes work extended past physical care. She was a loving companion and confidant, and she was considered family by those for whom she worked. Through work, Alice resided in Jamaica, Bahamas and has spent the last 30 years in Tampa, Florida. Alice was best known for her quick-witted humor, excellent cooking skills and generous spirit. Alice loved the Lord. She was dedicated to serving the Lord, and active in multiple ministries in her church at Tampa Life Church, formerly known as Calvary Tabernacle. She always quoted "soft answers turneth away wrath" and "always stay in tune with God" Alice loved reading the bible. Her two favorites were scriptures Psalm 23 and Psalm 27. Faith and family were most important to her. Alices love for family resonated through, detailed preparation of Jamaican cuisine, her infectious laugh, and simple conversation. She was always there for anyone who needed her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Violet Clark; siblings, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. along extended family members, Sheila Teresa Bundy Warren and Louella Burks (Burksie).

She is survived by sister Sweetie in Canada; daughter Lorraine Clarke Francis, (John); grandsons, Romario Robinson, and Joseph Francis; son Wayne Clarke; grandsons, Wayne Clarke Jr, Tuewayne Clarke, Quewayne Clarke, and Kertise Clarke; granddaughters Sosna Clarke and Tara Joe Clarke; 2 great grandchildren Jordan Robinson and Axylie Brown, all currently residing in Jamaica; and host of nieces and nephews. Alice also leaves behind extended family in Florida, known to them as AA-AI, Rhonda (Alex); daughters, Celeste, and Cheyenne, Kenya (Michael) daughters, Azauni. Donna, Freddie, and Brianna; And a host of others in Des Moines IA, Chicago IL, and Katy, TX. She was truly loved and will be missed by her church family and friends.
