Alma Erwin DeWald 91, of Tampa, died on June 22, 2012 She was born in Ocilla, GA. on May 22, 1921, and grew up in Tampa. She was the daughter of Daniel Tucker Erwin and Clara Belle Mann Erwin. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Reverend Allen G. DeWald, Sr.; sons, Allen G. DeWald Jr. and David E. DeWald; brother, Jackson M. Erwin; and sisters, Margaret E. Miller, Clara Erwin, Marion E. Tuggle, Carolyn E. Anderson, Elizabeth E. Burnside, and Martha E. Dickson. She is survived by her daughters- in- law, Elaine DeWald and Jean DeWald Brock; grandsons, Scott K. DeWald, Dion E. DeWald, Kris D. DeWald, David E. DeWald Jr.; granddaughters Danielle K. DeWald and Debra K. DeWald; two great grandaughters, four great grandsons; and many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. A memorial service will be held in the University Village Auditorium on Friday, June 29th at 2:00 PM.
