Obituary

Homegoing services for Mrs. Alma Fowler Moss of Tampa who passed away on Thursday, January 3rd, will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, pastor with Rev. Danny Osborne, pastor of Godside Progressive M.B. Church, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Alma Fowler Moss was born December 17, 1942 in Tampa, Florida she was one of seven children born to the late Walter and Helen Fowler. Alma enjoyed interior decorating, drawing and spending time with her loved ones. She attended New Progress Missionary Baptist Church. Her favorite scripture was John 3:16 "God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son". Alma was preceded in death by her parents and son, Enoch Moss. She leaves to cherish her fond and loving memory with her loving family: devoted husband, Cecil Robert Moss; loving children, Ferzeda Richardson, Katera Moss, Angela Richardson (Lorenzo) and Lydia Moss; dedicated grandchildren, Enodsia Moss, Oscartera Milbry, Desario Moss, Enoch Moss, Jr. (Stephanie), Eshamera Moss, David Myers, Sabelitha James, Andropolis Mitchell, Teela Myers (Walter), Stansheala Wilson, Shantelle Melton (Leon), Marcia Mosley, Amanda Neal and Anessa Freeman; great grandchildren, Lyric Faison, Enocierra, Enijah, Enoch and Enaysha Moss, Malik Taylor, Aniah Walters, Ianna Spaulding, Christian Neal, Tomas Warren, Davi'yanna and King David Myers, Myla Striker, Walter Whittaker IV, Reginal, Jr., Remari and Remarion James, Andropolis, Jr., Anyais and Aston Mitchell, Isis and Isreal Melton, Travis Weller, Jr. and A'yahna Clayton; nieces, Constance Brown (Leroy), Linda Baker, Charlene Davis (Emory), Sylvia Johnson (Herbert), Tonya Williams, Kalesta Jones and Gia Jones Mitchell; nephews, David Denson, Nathaniel Butler (Martha), Nathaniel Butler, Jr., Darrell Turner, Henry Atkins and Herbert Williams, Jr.; goddaughter, Cheryl Joaquin; best friend, Shirley Wright; special friends, Bessie Smith, Pearl Jones and Andrea Hall; and a host of relatives in Alachua and Winter Haven, Florida. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 11th, from 5 to 8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service.
