Williams
March 29, 1932 – June 15, 2022
Almeeta was known to all who knew and loved her as "Baby sister". Almeeta was born on March 29, 1932, in Tampa, FL to Arthur Baker and Almeeta Mackie. She was educated in the public school system and graduated from Middleton High School, class of 1949. She retired from the University of South Florida, custodian department after 29 years of service. Almeeta accepted the Lord Jesus as her personal Savior and was baptized at First Baptist Church of College Hill, where she remained an active and loyal member until her departure from this life. During her membership at First Baptist Church of College Hill, she was a faithful member of the Deaconess and Ministers Wives Ministry, the Jolly Senior Ministry, the Senior Choir, and the Mass Choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Baker and Almeeta Mackie; a loving husband, Charlie T. Williams, Sr.; daughters, Sheryl Fennie and Freddie Mae Davis; son, Williams Charles Baker; and grandson, Charles Tyrone Williams.
Almeeta leaves a loving family to celebrate her life and cherish her memories with her loving children, Grady Williams, Charlie T. Williams, Jr. (Judy), Ida Campbell, Mary Bulmer, Almeeta Bryant (Andrew), Sherlene Mendez, Julius Williams, Andrew Williams (Sonia), Edward Williams (Sarah), and Stephanie Richardson (Eugene); sisters, Artha Etta Williams and Johnnie M. Garrett; sons-in-law, Freddie Davis and Tony Fennie; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her best friend, Mrs. Hazel Matthews; and organizations with the Amelia Social Club and the Jolly Seniors Ministry.
