Altamese was born on August 11, 1952, in Tampa, Florida, to Fred Warren and Beatrice Small.

She was employed at a prestigious firm in New York City in lower Manhattan as a secretary. She possessed great intellectual clerical skills. Altamese was very ambitious and headstrong. She had a beautiful and friendly smile.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Beatrice Warren.

She leaves precious memories with her son, Kwasi Warren; brothers, Wesley Warren (Dorothy), Freddie Warren (Betty), Lenard Warren (Vernal), and Delanor Warren; sisters, Angelina Warren, and Mayetta Cartwright.
