Mr. Alvin Jackson, AKA "Miami Dime" was born in Tampa, Florida on September 6, 1953, to Alma Jackson. Alvin was raised and educated in Tampa and attended Hillsborough High School and subsequently the school system of Miami-Dade County, Florida. Upon completion of High School, Alvin enlisted in the United States Navy, eventually settling in California. Alvin was very outgoing and did not meet a stranger. Alvin was kindhearted and exhibited a warm spirit and personality. Family was of the utmost importance.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Bonnie Jackson, Sr. and Maggie Wellons Jackson. Aunts, Fannie Jackson Jones, Dorothy Jackson, Barbara Jackson Johnson, and Laura Nell Jackson. Uncles William (Sonny) Jackson, Slyvester (Cap) Jackson, Bonnie Jackson Jr.
(Jack). Cousins, Leon Major Thomas, Joe Cherry, Colin Thomas, Sr., Leon Major Thomas III and Colin Thomas, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Son Alvin Jackson, Jr. (three Grandchildren), mother, Alma Ruth Jackson Randolph; brother, Kenneth Randolph; sister, Stephanie Randolph; three nephews, Keith Randolph, and Jozef Graham of Tampa. Derek Williams II (Lindsey) of Newnan, Georgia; grandnieces and nephews, Jayden Singleton, Desirae Williams and Derek Williams III, all of Newnan, Georgia; aunt, Betty Smith of Miami, Florida; loving cousins, Navarra Jackson (Louvenia), Tampa, Florida, Madeline Jackson Lakeland, Florida, Wilma Jackson Carrolton, Georgia, Linda Wright (Jimmy) Tampa, Florida, Cassandra Walton (Foster), Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Florence Williams (Geroge), Orlando, Florida, Tara Hicks, Atlanta, Georgia, and Loren Johnson, Richmond, Virgina.
