Ms. Amanda Michelle Evans-Coleman of Tampa, Florida quietly transitioned to be with the Lord on Friday, November 15, 2024. Amanda was born in Tampa, Florida on April 21, 1963, to the late Randolph Evans and Ella Evans..She attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School in 1981.After graduating, she started her career with the Salvation Army in 1981 and later transitioned to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office where she remained many years before transferring to the State Attorney's Office – where she retired in 2012. Amanda was a founding member of Exciting Faith Alive Church and served in various ministries and auxiliaries of the church to include Usher Ministry and Pastor Support Ministry. Amanda brought excitement and joy to any gathering. She truly was the life of the party! She enjoyed going out to eat, traveling, and making memories with her family and friends. She made everyone feel welcome, there was no stranger in sight.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Titus J. Coleman; her parents; brother, Michael Evans; and sister, Brenda Evans Richard.
Amanda leaves to cherish her memory: to her devoted daughter, Breanna Michelle Landers (Andre); three granddaughters, Larresia Landers, Anari Landers, and Ailani Landers; brother, Freddie Hayes; sisters, Jacqueline Evans Herring and Beverly Evans; sister-in-law, Lenora Coleman; aunts, Sidney Ruff and Rena Mae Brown; uncle, Claudie Hayes (Beatrice); nephews, Freddie Hayes, Jr. (LaToya) and Damion Hayes; nieces, Talicia Nash (Nanyhor'ria), Michelle Sims, and Brittany Herring; great-nieces, Fredeja, Daphaney, Kanah and Taylor Hayes, Zinaii Grant and Ziyhon Wright; great-nephews, Michael and Brendan Nicholson; great-great nephew, Saiyir Hayes; best-friends, the Old School Crew – Charisse Shepherd, Tracey Williams, Carolyn Evans-Young (Alexander), Shantel Hemmingway-Lawton, Michele Shuler, and Melody Jolly; and many more.
