Homegoing services for Mrs. Amy Evadine Newman of Tampa who passed away Thursday July 12, 2012 will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at Hope of Shiloh Community Church, 3910 E. Canover Street, Elder Robert E. Benn Street, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Amy was born July 4, 1940 in Jamaica to parents David and Amanda Grant. She was a member of Hope of Shiloh Community Church and enjoyed sewing, playing board games and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Amanda Grant; brothers, Stanford, Clifford and George Grant; sisters, Violet Fenton, Linda Sproul, Una Morrison and Adell Grant. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with husband, Oswald H. Newman; children, Clive Mcmahon, Jasmin A. Scott, Beverley I. Francis, Charmaine M. Newman-Walker, Robert F. Newman, Kirk N. Newman and Nicole B. Newman; 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Gregory Grant; and a host of other relatives and friends.
