Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Andre Emanuel Lee Norton Bowles, Sr. who passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 will be held Saturday, January 25th at 2:00 p.m., Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 4413 N. 35th Street, Rev. Madison Murray, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Andre Emanuel Lee Norton Bowles was born January 1, 1973 in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School in 1991 with a trade in welding, which he successfully came out on top of 200 in his welding class. He had a passion for driving trucks and attended RoadMaster Driving School. He was employed with Hart Line Transportation. Andre married Cammy Dixon and with their union they were blessed with one son and two daughters. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Willie Buster Smith; grandparents, Melvin Norton, Sr., Eddie and Sally Bowles; great grandmother, Vivian Guzman Branch and cousin, Carlos Reneto Cummings. Andre leaves to cherish his memory with a loving wife, Cammy Norton; 4 children; Andre Norton, Jr., D'Andre Norton, Andrea Norton and Heaven Norton; beloved mother, Vivian Norton Smith; father, John Lee Bowles; 2 sisters, Loretta Smith White (Chris) and Teresa Smith Bates (Donald); grandmother, Vivian Guzman Norton; nephew, Jeremiah Smith; 7 aunts; special aunt, Andrea Norton Cummings (Darryl), Cynthia Hernandez, Judy Wilson, Sandra Washington, Barbara Chumack (Andre), Delphine Bowles and Camilena Green; uncles, Melvin Norton, Jr. (Candy), Henry Norton, Sr. (Traci), Carl Norton, Eddie Bowles, Samuel Bowles, Joseph Bowles (Norma) and Rodney Bowles; great aunts, Margaret Woodie, Marjorie McGee, Carolyn Sesler, Shirley Black, Marie Guzman, Doris Bryant and Lavern Collins; father-in-law, Authur Williams (Oveida); mother-in-law, Helen Guse; sisters-in-law, Terniska Hearns and September Brown; brother-in-law, Kevin Hearns and Ivory Hudson; special cousins, Tumeka, Nakaya Darryl Jr., Erica and his pumkin, Kalvina; godsister, Crystal Boyers; friends, Darryl Smith, Derrick Engram, Jr. and Thomas; and a host of other family members, neighbors and friends including the Norton, Sesler, Guzman, Jenkins, Issac, Flowers and Woodall families. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, Friday January 24th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
