Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Andrew F.B. Johnson, of Tampa, who passed away, Wednesday, September 30, 2015, when the angels welcomed him home, will be held Saturday, October, 17th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd, Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Mr. Johnson was born on September 10, 1941 to the late parents of James B. Johnson, Sr. and Lucille C. Johnson, in LaCoochee, FL. Mr. Johnson attended Hillsborough County Public Schools and was friends to many of all walks of life. He was preceded in death by both his parents, brother, James B. Johnson, Jr.; sisters, Lee Ella Kinsey, Essie Mae Riley, Doris Johnson Ash and Easter Holden. Mr. Johnson leaves to cherish his precious memories with his devoted wife, Velma Johnson of 30 years and 8 months of marriage; daughters, Charlotte Johnson, Wandora Brown, Angela Hillsman and Roslye Hendry; brothers, Antonie Johnson and Virgil B. Brown; nieces, Barbara Powell, Bernice Allen, Valentine Pearson, Barbara Canady, Paulette Parks, Belevan Council, Iris Warhock, Genette Keely and Sandra Kinsey; nephews, Fred Thomas, Julius Hodges, Paul Council, Kenneth Council, Ronald, Rudolph, Robert, Ray Riley, Norris, Rechac, Tony, Carl and Charles Kinsey; cousins, Mary Dorsett, Laure, Mary, Diety and Jimmy Missouri; host of grand and great-grandchildren and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at Aikens Funeral Home on Saturday for the service.
