Obituary

Mr. Angus LeRoy Anderson "Gus" was born on September 10, 1952, in Tampa, Fl.  He graduated from Middleton High School, Class of 1970, he further studies at FAMU and eventually enlisted in the US military (Army). For many years he worked as a supervisor/manager at Univar Solutions before retirement. He enjoyed and loved playing and coaching basketball, watching sports, working out at the gym, spending quality time with his daughter, and spending countless days and nights conversating with his siblings and friends. He was also a big overall sports fan, but specifically for the Buccaneers and Gators.

Angus was preceded in death by his father, Lorenza Anderson; mother, Netta Coleman; brother, James Coleman; sister, Cynthia Anderson, and uncles and aunts.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: son, Corries Culpepper (Candace); daughter, Eboni Anderson; grandchildren, C'erra Culpepper, Cortne Mills (Chris II), Joshua, Cai, Corrie Culpepper; great-grandchildren, Chris III, Colby Mills; sister Alalia Mack (Waymond); brother, Naji Aalim; aunt, Mary Coleman-Lundy; nieces, Latonya Anderson-Rhodes (Carlos), Jamila King, Yejide Mack, Early Coleman, Cynthia Coleman; nephews, Lorenzo Anderson, and Aswad Mack; best friend, Charles Mickens.  Along with a host of cousins, great nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to his caregivers Belinda and Cynthia for their care and unwavering support throughout Angus's last months and to everybody else who provided comfort, support and assistance during these times.
