A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Annie Liza Coleman Bright of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 will be held Saturday, March 3rd, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th St., Rev. S. Evan Burrows, pastor officiating. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Annie was born May 30, 1915 in St. Mary, Georgia to the late Frank and Georgia Coleman. She was a member of First Baptist Church of College Hill. Annie enjoyed sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Nathaniel Bright; daughters, Vivian Scott and Ruby Mitchell; grandsons, Carl Robinson, Anthony Troutman and Kenneth Watson; brothers, Leon and George Coleman; sisters, Susie Coleman Bass and Bell Coleman and nephew, Alton Bass. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Audrey Jackson, Melvin Doyle and Gwendolyn Triplett; grandchildren, Alton, Don, Willette, Willie, Jr., Diann, Deann, Tonia, Violet, Tina and Keisha; great-grandchildren, Leonard, Leon, Leon, Lenora, Lynette, Leneshia, Sandra, Willie, Jr., Nikia, Revee, Naimah, Genair, Jemal, Temesha, Temeka, Yasin, Karreem, Bill, Jr., Raheem, Carla and Donyell; nieces, Leta Barns, Yvonne Bass, Ovita Dove and Donna O. Lawson; nephews, Charles Bass, Blair Bass, and Louie Bass; special friends, Sister Constance and Sister Latifah; a host of other relatives and friends; The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
