Annie L.Caldwell was born on January 2, 1941, in Brantley, Alabama, to Glenn Tyson and Charles Tillis who raised her with love, strength, and unwavering support. From a young age, she displayed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a natural ability to bring joy to those around her. Whether it was her infectious laughter, her caring nature, or her ability to turn any moment into a cherished memory, she was a gift to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a proud and devoted member of New Progress Missionary Baptist Church where her faith flourished and her walk with Christ was evident in both word and deed. Through years of worship, service, and fellowship she built lifelong friendships with her church family who became an extension of her own. Annie was a hardworking and ambitious individual, she pursued a career in Nursing, eventually retiring from Tampa General Hospital, where her dedication and passion left a lasting impact on colleagues and patients. She was deeply committed to her work, always striving to make a difference and leave a positive mark on the world. Beyond her professional achievements, Annie was a woman of many passions. She found joy in spending time with her family, gardening in her yard, picking fresh fruits and vegetables, shopping, cooking, and going fishing. She was always eager to share anything she could offer to those around her. More than anything, Annie was devoted to her family and friends.
