A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Annie Mae Fleming of Tampa, Florida who passed away on December 10, 2017 will be held Friday, December 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Pastor Rashan Wall, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park cemetery. Annie was born on March 9, 1930 in College Park, Georgia to the late Alex Pyant and Mamie Scott. She loved cooking and believed that 'There is no dish she couldn't make'. Annie loved taking care of her grandchildren. She was the mother of all the kids on Taylor Street. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Fleming; daughter, Sandra Fleming Wall; brothers, Moses Edward, Alex, Frank, Rufus, George and Walter Pyant and sister-in law, Yvonne Hayes; brothers-in-law, Richard and Lamar Barnes. She leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Eugene (Carolyn) and Euwanta Fleming (Theresa); grandchildren, Daryle Wall (Greta), Marvin Wall, Latisha Perrie (Michael) and Michael Wall (Lisa), Quiana Fleming Gordon (Harold), Quadirah Fleming Moore (Shawn), Quishana Flemming English (Johnathan), Tawantu Taylor (Tara), Derek Simmons, Taj Atkinson, Satyana Griffin and Quadona; sister, Dorothy 'Ruth' Carter and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew and other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held on Friday, December 22nd from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Friday for the service.
