A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Annie Mae Franklin Martin of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 was held on Saturday, September 16th, 10:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Ave. Annie was born October 8, 1958 in Valdosta, Georgia. She was a school bus driver for 32 years for Hillsborough County School System. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Montgomery. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Solomon Martin (Darlene'Tiny') of Tampa, Florida and Brian Martin (Tiffany) of Ft. Myers, Florida; grandson, Anthony Martin.; great-grandchildren, Anthony Martin, Jr. and Persphonie Martin; sisters, Emily McMillan and Dorothy Jones; cousin, Robert Montgomery of Valdosta, Georgia; and a host of other family members. The visitation was held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 15th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends met at the graveside on Saturday for the service.
