A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Annie Payne of Tampa, FL who passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2:00 p.m. at First Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3707 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL 33610, Senior Pastor B. E. Garmon, Sr. officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Annie was born on April 15, 1925 in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Eunice McCray, Sr. and Geneva Brown. She was a member of First Union M.B. Church and loved making people laugh. She enjoyed cooking, decorating, and spending time with family and friends. Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Payne. She leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Betty Fields, Gloria Williams (John) and Wilbur Dantzler (Nancy); grandchildren, Byron Ward, Walter DantzlerWard (Tami), John Williams, Jr. (Kimberly), Michael Williams (Crystal), NeeniaDantzler and Mark Dantzler (Rhonda); 16 great grandchildren; sister, Julia McCray; nieces, Donetta Gill, SheliaKilpatrick, Jennifer Kilpatrick, Reginia McCray, Rosa Hart and Dorothy Crimley; nephews, Eugene McCray, Ronald McCray (Ruby), Gordon McCray, Jr. (Marilyn) and Peter Kilpatrick III; great nephews, Joshua McCray and Gordon McCray; great nieces, Nina Underdue, Lauren McCray and Nina Vail; cousins, Bernice Jackson, William Jones andRuth Hall; neighbors, Ethel Hayes and Denise Bradford; church members, Brenda Reese Brown, Deacon Bernard Reese andErnestine Larry; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at First Union Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, May 19th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
