Obituary

Mrs. Annie Mae Smith was born February 6, 1916 in Bullock County, Alabama. She grew up and was educated in the public schools of Bullock County, Alabama. Mrs. Smith relocated to Tampa in the early 60's. Mrs. Smith was a caregiver of the elderly and also worked in the fabric and textiles industry. Upon her retirement she took care of the young children in the family. Mrs. Smith was a faithful member of Good News Baptist Chapel, Inc. where Reverend Dr. E. C. Kelly is the Pastor. Mrs. Annie Mae Smith was preceded in death by her parents Bama and Jim Tyson and her loved ones Alfred Smith, Willie Mack Smiley, Ruthie Mae Smith, Glen Tyson, Buena V Justice, Charlie Mack Tyson, Voncile Smiley, and James Smiley, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory: five children, 2 daughters W. Ceil Vinson (Otis), and Dorothy Dixon (Joe), three sons, Mike Smiley (Cheryl), Fred Smiley (Joan) and James Smiley (Janet). Her grandchildren: Vickie Walker, Cathy Smiley, Annette Harris, Juliette Smiley, Dinah Smiley-Wells (David), Mike Smiley, Jr., Joe Sacco (Bonnie), Shearon Fisher (Reginald), Betsy Lee (Charles), Tawnya Smiley, Elaine Smith, Lichia Fitts, Carmen Smiley, Fred Smiley, Jr., Daniel Vinson, Bobby Vinson, Michelle Vinson, Janine Rollison (Alfonso), Jeffrey Smiley, James Davis, Gia Roberts (Don), Casey Davis (Antionette), and Tramonte Hargrove (Valencia). Her sister Alice Freeney (Edward), brothers Cliff Tyson (Gladys), and Clarence Tyson. Adopted Children M. C. Lawrence and Mittie B Lawrence; and a host of great grand children, great-great grand children, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
