Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Jean Wells of 3408 N. 31st Street, Tampa, who passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011, will be held on Saturday, May 28th, 2:00 p.m. at Peace Progressive M.B. Church, 2607 E. 24th Avenue, Tampa, Rev. Albert Gallmon, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Annie Wells was a native of Blakely, Georgia. She attended the public schools of Early County. She moved to Tampa, Florida, many years ago and was a member of Peace Progressive M.B. Church. She was employed by Aramark Laundry Services for over 38 years and also worked for several other cleaning services. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, West and Eddie Mae Mallard of Blakely, Georgia; six sisters and six brothers. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Ernest Morrer (Diane), Anthony Morrer and wife, Lisa, Hazel Clark and husband, Tony, Louis Brinson and wife, Gynita, Ronnie Brinson and significant other, Iris, Emitt Bunkley and wife, Yyoni, and Sabrina Wells and significant other, Aaron; grandchildren all of Tampa, Michelle, Tony, Ernest, Jr., La'Trice, Shericka, Ronnie Jr., Rochelle, Devontae (Spud), Donnel, Shabrynae (Tiny), Emeasha, Eneasha, Tiara, Emitt, Jr., Maya, Iyanna, Dikeata and Raymond; great grandchildren, Le'Quisha, Dontavious, Avry22, Demarcus, Kargan, Dartayvious, Emari, To'nylie, Wendell, Jr., Tinsley, Ethan, Cameron and Montae; one brother, Tommie Mallard of Tampa; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews, neighbors, other relatives and friends; special friends, Mattie Burch, Joseph Bristor and Mrs. Fannie. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 p.m. Family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday for the service.
