Homegoing celebration for Mrs. Annie Ruth Williams of Tampa who passed away, Saturday, May 23, 2015 will be held Saturday, May 30th, 2:00 p.m. at St. John Progressive M.B. Church, 2504 Chipco Street, Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Annie Ruth Williams slipped away quietly to be absent from this body so that she could be present with the Lord. She was born December 25, 1930 in Americus, Georgia, where she attended school. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie B. Williams; two daughters, Barbara and Jessie Williams; mother, Annie Terry; sister, Carolyn Dice; brothers, Charlie, Walter, Randolph, John Lee, and Terry, Sr., Williams and great granddaughter, Antoria House. Annie's legacy will continue through the love ones she left behind. She leaves to cherish her memories with her seven children, Vickie, Sheryl, Alvin, Donald, Sandra, Patricia and Benjamin Williams; grandchildren, Nicole, Marcus, Akesha, Whitney, Jessica, Henry, Cedric, Alvin, Jr., Karon, Ronnie, Donnie, Christopher, Crystal and Benjamin, Jr.; great grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, LaMark, Jocelyn, RaNiah, Alvin III, Destiny, Rihanna, Lauryn, McKenzie, Mauriyah, Mahjer, Emari, and Major; great great grandchild, Adrienne; two sisters, Linda Vickers and Shirley Lundy; brother, Simmuel Terry; daughter-in-law, Brenda Williams; sisters-in-law, Evelyn and Elenora Terry; brothers-in-law, David Vickers and James Williams; nieces, Veronica, Jennifer, Frankie, Teresa, Wendy, Tammy and Carolyn Ann; nephews, Travis, Bernard, Johnny, Terry, Jr., Charlie, Terry, Jr., Walter, Jeffrey, Michael and Simbo; aunt, Gladys Clark; and special family friend, Faye Foster and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, May 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
