Obituary

Mr. Anthony Ciucio, affectionately nicknamed "Chuchi", beloved husband and father, who went to be with our Lord and Savior July 8th, 2022.

Sixty-nine years ago, Anthony met his wife-to-be, Karen Curry at a donut shop in Hyde Park; their love remains eternal. Anthony paid service to our country under the Army branch, then went on to work as a barber for ten years. He then retired from Hillsborough County. Working as a tractor operator, he loved to be outdoors. His greatest gifts were his loving heart and Christian faith. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and cooking Italian food. Chuchi was the life of the party and enjoyed making everyone laugh with his gift of humor!

He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Tony and Ida Ciucio; sister, Joann; brother-in-law, Jerry; and brother, Jack.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; son, Tony; daughter-in-law Ana, Ericka; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Hallie; sister, Joann Johnson (Jerry); sister-in-law, Elsa and family; niece, Theresa Aragona (Herb); great-nieces, Gianna, Talliah, Cherylann Cabrera (David), Christian, Nicholas, and family); and nephew Jerry Johnson (Melissa and family). The Ciucio family extends a special thank you to Jerry and Melissa Johnson, Sister Joann, Christina and Manolo Hernandez, Angela LaLa, RN, and the entire staff at BayCare.
