Mr. Anthony Hudson Virtual Program
Anthony Hudson, affectionately known as "Big Hud," was born on February 3, 1961, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a man whose life was defined by generosity, kindness, and an unwavering willingness to help others. Anthony's presence was a steady source of comfort and strength to those who knew him, and his legacy will live on in the many lives he touched. He was a faith- filled man, who accepted and served His Lord and Savior. Anthony was a member of Allen Temple AME Church. He proudly served his country as a Navy Seal in the United States Navy for seven years, demonstrating his commitment to service and honor.
Following his military service, he dedicated 34 years of his life to Mr. Lee H.K. and Digital Watch Dog, where his creativity, analytical mind, and strong work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike. Known for his thoughtful nature and handy skills, "Big Hud" was someone you could always count on. Whether fixing something, offering advice, or simply lending a listening ear, he gave of himself freely.
He had a deep love for fishing, football, and sports of all kinds, as well as military movies. Above all, he cherished time spent cooking, laughing, and making memories with his family and friends. "Big Hud" was also known for his humor and memorable sayings, often reminding those around him, "What you talking about, Willis," and "It is what it is"—phrases that reflected both his playful spirit and his grounded outlook on life.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Hudson.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Elaine Pittman; sons, William Hudson, Devaughn Reese-Hudson, and Malik Hudson; daughters, Sania Hudson and Sarita Hudson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; former spouse and loving mother of his children, Vinus Hudson; grandson, Nehemiah Reese; his mother, Idonia Hudson Ary (Jesse A.) of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers, Curtis L. Hudson of Raleigh, North Carolina, Edward E. Hudson of Cañon City, Colorado, and Michael D. Hudson of Savannah, Georgia; sister, Alisa M. Hudson of San Diego, California; sister-in-law, Wanda Johnson of Dothan, AL, Jacqueline Pittman Brown (Jerome) of Tampa, FL; uncle, Charles M. McDowell (Aileen) of Roy, Utah; former brother-in-law James (Laccia) Reese; a host of extended family and friends.
Anthony "Big Hud" Hudson will be remembered for his big heart, his service, his wisdom, and the love he shared so freely. His life was a testament to compassion, strength, and community, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him."
