Homegoing Celebration for Anthony Jerome Lovett, who departed this earthly life on May 25, 2012, will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:30 am, at First Baptist Church of Progress Village, 8722 Progress Blvd., Tampa, FL, with Pastor-Teacher, Dr. Sam Maxwell, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Anthony Jerome Lovett was born January 24, 1947 in Tampa Florida to his loving parents, Virgil and O'Letha Lovett. Anthony attended Blake High School of Tampa. He was a realtor, an avid bowler, and enjoyed many sports and spending time with family and friends. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was a faithful member of The First Baptist Church of Progress Village, until his failing health would no longer permit. Anthony departed this earthly life on Friday, May 25, 2012 to answer the call of his Heavenly Father and rest from the toils of sickness, pain and sorrow. He leaves to cherish precious memories with his loving wife and caregiver, Jacqueline; son, Marshall Myrick and wife Katrina; grandchildren, Marshall Myrick, Jr., Desmond Myrick, Marshana Harris, Marshavia Myrick, Marquita Myrick, and Aaron Freeman; step children, Lawanda Tarver and Theron White; stepgrandchildren, Shaneka Groom, Jamera Tarver, Jameria Tarver, and Jakyra Tarver; 3 sisters- in- law, 1 brother in law, a host of cousins and other sorrowing relatives and friends. The remains will repose from 5-8 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012 at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL 33610.
