Obituary

Mr. Anthony Wayne Pitts, Sr. "Poochie" A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel.Anthony was born May 15, 1963 in Tampa, Florida to the late Myrtle Panknone and Walter Pitts. Anthony was a member of New St. Matthew M.B. Church from a young age. Anthony loved to joke and always has a smile he was always a fair person with a kind heart. He loved to cook and be with his family and friends. Anthony was an entrepreneur opening up Yaweh Ministries in New Orleans to feed the poor and assist with the victims of Katrina. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Robert Brantley, Sr., sister, Janeen Panknone, aunt, Mary Frances Lee and sister-in-law, Amanda Brantley. He leaves to cherish his memories: devoted friend, Rebecca Tallent; children, Anthony W. Pitts, Jr., Karadine Rieder and Nakayla Cook; brothers, Larry G. McCrimmon and wife, Yolanda; sister, Prophetess Robin Williams; uncle, David Butler; nieces, Kenisa, Fairrin and Lanitra McCrimmon, Cassandra, Ericka and Stephanie Miller, Patrece Panknone and Tyesha Thomas; nephews, Maliek McCrimmon, James Panknone, Monroe A. Parks, and Saddiq R. Minor; cousins, Mary, Marilyn and Charles Lee, April and Freeman Harbrook, Darlene, Sam and Keith Christian, Brielle and Raynard Butler; special friend, Kenny Anderson; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
