Anthony "Tony" Smith was born December 30, 1961, to Herbert Smith, Sr. and Irma Jean Smith Fitz in Tampa, Florida. Anthony was an avid football fan and loved the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and loved attending the games.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Smith, Sr. and Irma Jean Smith Fitz.

He leaves to cherish his memories: spouse, Doretha Johnson; step father, Willie C. Stirling; children, Shakita Blackmon, Patricia Blackmon, Deonandre Woods, Sr. and Deja Lawrence; grandchildren, Otisha Hunter, E.J Hardy, Eve Hardy, Khalil Lanier, Keyoni Hammond, Kaiir Hammond, Deonandre Woods, Jr., Natalia, Zayden, Andre, Jayden and Cavari Woods; brothers, Adrian Smith, Bruce Smith, Earl McGriff Fitz, and Herbert Smith, Jr.; sisters, Sybil Gordon, Cynthia Smith, Gladys Canyon; cousin, Tracey Jackson; special friends, Chuck Darby, Brandon Miller, Robert Baker, Albert Delham, Grey William and Sidney William; two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other special family and friends.
