Homegoing service for Mr. Antonio "Anthony" Lang of Tampa who passed away, Friday, February 28, 2014, will be held Saturday, March 8th, 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Memorial Church of God In Christ, 2313 E. 27th Av, Bishop Matthew Williams, pastor with Elder Tommie Jones, officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Antonio was born February 23, 1984 in Tampa, Florida to the late Antonio Smith and Hattie Lang. He was a graduate of Hillsborough High School Class of 2003. He was a stock clerk for Dollar General Retail Store. He enjoyed watching comedy shows and loved the Batman Theme. Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Smith, grandparents, Mary and Felix Andrews, Geneva Smith Johnson, Edna Kincade, Rosa Lee and Johnny Jones and uncle, Robert Lang, Jr. He leaves to cherish his fond memories with his wife, Taina Serrano-Lang; mother, Hattie Adams (Darren); brother, Roosevelt (RJ) Willingham, Jr. (Trisha); sister, Jasmine Smith; aunts, Connie Boone, Anita Gurley, Patricia Stitts (Steve), Cheryl Cato (Robert), Debra Lang-Williams, Mattie Williams (Mayo), Wanda Lemons (Curtis) and Maureen Butler; uncles, John Lang (Paula), Calvin Mack; mother-in-law, Denise Harris (Willie); father-in-law, Gaspar Serrano; sisters-in-law, Velda and Minerva Serrano; brothers-in-law, Juan, Jose and Angel Serrano and Jason Brunner; aunt-in-law, Debra Gomez; nieces, Zaniyah and Roselani; nephews, Jalen and Braxton; cousins, John, Jason, Candice, Rodney, Ryan, Raquel, Chandria, Brian, Trevor, Cedric, Ericka, Corey, Brandon, Jason, Dijon, Evan, Marissa, Breauna, Romando, Jermaine, Jashanda, Chemise, Nikita, Morris, Kim, Johnny, Yolanda and Timothy; great aunts, Margaret Tinsley (Walt), Irene West (Samuel), and Ruby Torregano; great uncle, Johnny Jones Jr.; godparents, Roderick and Gail Taylor; and a host of other family members including the Tinsley, West and Jones families; a host of close friends and co-workers. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 7th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
