Originally from Sardis, GA., Ms. Arnetha Smith was born November 7, 1946, to the late Calloway Smith and Lurleen Graham. Arnetha became a resident of Tampa, FL., in the late 1960s, where she attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. As an employee of Tampa General Hospital, she earned an Environmental Services Engineer certification during her tenure. She was a faithful servant of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church, serving on the usher board and other ministries. She was a beloved active member of the Bowling Divas Inc., bowling organization.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calloway Smith and Lurleen Graham; son, Jerome Smith; granddaughter, Cassandra Bell; brothers, John Wright, Sr., James, and Phinezee Smith.

She will be forever missed by her sons, Rodney "Deon" (Andrea), Lee Arthur, Brian, Sr. (Denise), Martin, Kevin, and Justin Smith; only daughter, Jurleen "Jill" Jones; daughter-in-law, Ramona Smith; grandchildren, Corbin Nottingham, Jerome Bass, Rodneisha Smith, Bernard Wilson, Adrian Broxton, Sedavia Smith, LaTracianna " La La" Smith, Rachelle Crosby, Brian " Lil Brian" Smith, Jr., Nakia Smith, Larry Smith, Derrick Campbell, Ronneil Jones (Banita), Matthew Anderson, Marliyah Smith, and Jewlian "Ju Ju" Smith; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Willie Jean Roach, Jurleen Jones, and Carolyn Smith-Gilmore; sister-in- law, Gladys Wright; aunt, Warnell Flowers and family from Miami, FL; nieces, Cheryle Wester (Glen), Paula Cox (Dino), Camlee Jones, Adrienne "Nicole" Jones, Michelle Smith, Herlana Chisolm (Derrick, Sr.), Kim Himes (Vernando), Sharon Wright, Trina Wright, and Lurcora "Nette" Wright; nephews, Darius Fagin (Anita), Perry Jones III, Aaron Jones, Sr. (Tavona), Anthony Roach (Tineisa), Johnathan Roach, Anthony Wright, John Wright, Jr.(Twania), Leando Palmer, and Timothy Hamilton; special cousins, Faye Mitchell, Justine Macon-Alston, Brenda Harris, and Lavernne Mincy; a host of cousins from Lakeland, Plant City, Winter Haven, FL, and California; special friends, Evelyn Perkins and Carolyn Brookins; along with a host of other sorrowing relatives including, great-nieces, great-nephews, neighbors, and friends
