Arthur affectionately nicknamed "Man" was born on August 25, 1959, in Tampa, Florida, to Cleveland Diggs and Johnnie Mae Cobb-Diggs.

He lived in Tampa all his life and graduated from Hillsborough High School. His favorite activities were cooking, fishing, and watching sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves precious memories with his children, Lakiesha and Brandon Diggs; grandchildren, Daemiya and Demia; brothers, Rupert Cobb and Anthony Diggs (Verneice); sisters, Joann Diggs-Williams (Mark) and Diana Diggs; aunts, Lorraine Walker, of Detroit, Michigan, Mamie Barker, of Detroit, Michigan, Callie Johnson, of Virginia; uncles, Eddie and Arthur L. Diggs; niece, Cerice Hopkins; nephew, Marc Williams; a host of cousins, family, and friends; special friend, Leo Randolph.
