Homegoing services for Arthur Miller, of 1911 East Chelsea Street, who passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2009, will be held on Wednesday, July 15th, 11:00 a.m., at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 8119 East Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd. Rev. Eugene Garnett, Pastor, Rev. Cleveland Lane, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Highland Pines, officiating. Arthur was a resident of Tampa for over 50 years. His employment included Shriner's Hospital for Children, International Longshoremen Association #1402, Landmark Janitorial Services, and Premier Beverage Company. He was a faithful and long-time member of First Baptist Church of Highland Pines and served as chairman of the Trustee Board for a number of years. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Norene Copeland Miller; mother, Estelle Miller of Gretna, Florida; four sons, Jerome Miller (Joannne), and Ricky Miller of Tampa; James Miller and Fabian Miller of Quincy, Florida; three daughters, Marilyn Miller (Richard), and Helen Walker (Devon) of Tampa; and Angela Miller of Quincy; four step-daughters, Benisha Copeland Jackson, Kina Copeland (O'Neal), Kisha Copeland (Eugene), and Chantel Copeland of Tampa; three brothers, Walter Lee Miller and Douglas Miller (Dulcey) of Tampa; and Larry Miller (Bridget) of Easton, Pennsylvania; seven sisters, Gladys Russ of Hardaway, Florida; Lula Mae Hobbs, Jewel Williams (Joshua), Ida Hughes (James), Patricia Ann Williams all of Gretna, Florida; Gloria Ann Crews and Mattie Mae King (Nathaniel) of Quincy, Florida; uncles, Earl Miller (Donna), Robert Miller (Shirley) and Otis Miller; aunts, Carolyn Golder (Theron) of Harrisburg, PA, Sandra Miller, Tommie Lee Miller and Evelyn Miller (Randall), all of Tampa, FL; one brother-in-law, Moses Russ, Sr. (Luethel); sisters-in-law, Willie Ruth Russ Miller of Tampa and Antonia Barber; one aunt, Queen Miller of Tampa; cousin James Miller (Lena) of Tallahassee, Florida; god-daughter, Cynthia Graham Robinson; best friend, Tommy Walker (Dot) of Quincy, Florida; family friends, Doris Ross Reddick and family and Betty P. Wiggins and family; seventeen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, his church family and Premier Beverage family. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home Tuesday (today) from 4 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday for the funeral services.
