Obituary

A homegoing celebration for Elder Arthur Lee Underwood of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 will be held on Saturday, February 10th, 12:00 p.m. at Revealing Truth Ministries, 5201 N. Armenia Avenue, Pastor Gregory A. Powe, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. Elder Arthur Lee Underwood, Sr. was born on September 17, 1929 to the late Rufus and Mary Underwood in Eufaula, Alabama. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum as a master welder and mechanic. He was an awesome provider, husband and father. He believed in working for what you want and was a born again believer servant of God. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annie L. Underwood; sons, Arthur Lee, Jr. and Curtis D. Underwood; daughter, Precious Underwood; brother, Johnny Underwood and sisters, Mattie L. Underwood and Louella Darby. He leaves to cherish his memories with his children, John L. Dennis, Shirlee Anderson (Jerotha), Danny L. Daily (Sandra), Mary Colon (Idelias), Evette Minor (Dr. V.), Gregory (Sophia), Daniel, Darryl and Elisha (Lisa) Underwood; 60 grandchildren; over 70 great grandchildren; sister, Annie L. Shorter; sisters-in-law, Maiden and Avie Camon; Grace Pringle (Lloyd) and Sherry Bowers (John); brothers-in-law, James and Bobby Camon; niece, Trena Jones (Bernard); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; goddaughter, Jonie Hargrett (Lynn); and friend, Sandy Dettori. The visitation will be held at Revealing Truth Ministries on Saturday, February 10th from 11:30 to 12:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
