Homegoing Celebration of life for Mrs. Audrey Broom Williams who passed away, Monday, June 1, 2009, will be held Saturday, June 6th, at 1:30 p.m. at Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Elder Theodis Lane, pastor with Rev. Laurise Hamilton, eulogist. Audrey Broom Williams was born July 28, 1927 in Tampa, Florida. Audrey was preceded in death by her mother, Agatha Edwards, father, Charles Taylor, brother, Rudolph Taylor and other family members. She leaves fond and loving memories with 1 daughter, Zeraldine Jackson; 1 son, Donnell Anthony Williams, both of Tampa; grandchildren, Lesia Morton, Vonnie Thorpe, Jr., Connie Denise Thorpe (Antoinette), Mark Anthony Thorpe, Kathy Ann Marshall, Maya Yvette Myles and Latasha Nicole Myles; great grandchildren, Eddie Lee Biggins, III, Whitney Sharmaine Thorpe, Tahria D. Williams, Alasia Taylor, Shaukee Slter, Jr., Cha'Quavia Euniquie Williams, Charles Edward Williams, III, Chantz Rashard Williams, Jamarcus Antonio Thorpe, Dalton Wadley, Nyla M. Thorpe and Markiria Simmons; great great grandchildren, Skyla Biggins, Zion Biggins, Morris Bush, Mariah Rashae Gree, all of Tampa, Florida; 1 niece, Betty Jean Wilson (Ted); family of Phoenix, AZ; cousins, Bill Robinson and family of Miami, FL, Russell Person and family and Edwin Person, all of Tampa, Brenda Wilson and family, Pascoe, Pringley, Young and Tolbert families, all of Tampa, Florida; devoted friends, Josephine Barton, Mrs. Hunter and Lerory Lentz, Ella Evans, Mr. Charles and Mr. Drop, Sisters of the Eastern Star, Daytona Beach family and numerous other sorrowing relatives, friends and neighbors. The remains will repose at Aikens Funeral Home Friday, June 5th, from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 1:15 p.m. for the service.
