Baltazar Charles, lovingly known to many as "Charlie," was born on July 12, 1955, in Archaie, Haiti, to Alcius Charles and Charitable Clairizier. From an early age, Charlie was known for his kind heart, warm smile, and generous spirit. He had a deep love for soccer, often found playing with friends and cheering for his favorite teams. Music was another passion that filled his life with rhythm and joy, and he shared that love freely with those around him. Charlie also had a special gift for helping others—always willing to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or simply be there when someone needed him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Steeve Charles.

He leaves cherished memories with his children: Vanouchka Danielle Charles, Jean Lindel Charles; grandchildren, Miamoriah Joi Charles, Witchmy Charles, and Sindila Charles; great-grandchildren, Clercius Clerge and Zabel Charles; sisters, Marie Yanick Charles and Mariane Charles; nieces, Mona J' Jacques, Lidith J' Jacques, and Charlene Auilene; nephews, Wendy J' Jacques; and other relatives; and special friends, Odette Desir and Wesner Desir.
