A Memorial service for Beatrice Garrettof Tampa, Florida will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, 2:00 p.m.at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa, FL Mr. John Mitchell, officiating. The Interment will follow. Beatrice Garrett was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd P. Garrett, Jr; hermother and stepfather, Pearl andPierceWoods; her father Richard Smith; her brother Eddie Paul Williams, sister Ellen Williams, sister Thelma Smith andbrother Samuel Woods.

Beatrice is survived by her daughters, Carmen Henry, Linda Darby (Andre) and Maria Garrett; four grandchildren, Brandi Moore(Michael);Taylor Johnson,Savannah Johnson and Andre AlexanderDarby; little brother, William Woods; a host of nieces and nephews. The Garrettswould like to give a heartfelt thank you to special friends ofthe family who were extraordinarily supportive during this difficult time: David Milligan, Jacob Robbins, YaShica D'Angelo, John Mitchell, Leila Washington, Tony &Sue Blascoand last but certainly not least,Terry Scaglione.
