A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Belinda Brewer of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Friday, October 3, 2020 will be held Saturday, October 10th, 10:00 a.m., Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Thomas Scott, pastor of 34th Street Church of God, officiating.

Belinda Brewer was born October 1, 1957 in Tampa, Florida to Clarence Growins and Emma Brewer. Belinda enjoyed studying the Bible, cooking and crocheting. She was a graduate of Robinson HighSchool and an expert in mathematics.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Gowins and Emma Brewer and stepfather, Clarence Green Sr.; uncles, Levern Brewer, Eugene Brewer (Lula Mae) and aunt Aletha Woodberry.great nephew, Isaiah McDonald.

She is survived by her brothers, Michael, Clarence (Mary) and Freeman; sisters, Valarie (Darrell), Malissa, Patrica and Cynthia;children she raised and loved as her own Alonzo, Ashley (John), Monique and Dominque; a host of nieces and nephews, Asaiah, Jada, Jerrian, Jerrious, Roderick, Zayonna, Christiana, Alonzo Jr., Roderick, Kendra, Rika, Kimberly, Tristan, Milana, Xavier, Kiyona and Christal'Leah; her dearest friend, Christopher Smith. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 9th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
