Bernita was born February 13, 1956, in O'Brien FL, to Willie C. Thomas and Mae Helen Williams; She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She worked in data entry for The Price Water House Company before developing her own cleaning service which ran for over 10years; she then later did substitute teaching once her health started to fail. She was preceded in death by her grand father Simon Williams, grandmother, Ellen (Louise) Thomas, father Deacon Willie C. Thomas and stepmother Martiel Thomas. She leaves to cherish her memories: grandmother, Mazie Williams; mother, Mae Helen Thomas, sisters, Mychell Robinson (Reginald), Cynthia Thomas, and Paris Ford; three children, Tennille Williams, Mazie (Keisha) Williams, Melanie Keller; grandchildren, Shanikka, MyKel, Jeremiah, Kourtney, and Laila; Stepchildren, Aiishah Edwards, Alexander Williams, Alex Williams, Aisha Reeves, Kynsley Encinosa, Chezney Encinosa ; aunts, Oris Ford and Lula Davis: uncles, Ulysess Thomas and Curtis Thomas; god daughters, Shana Thomas, Tyroneise and Deedee; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
