A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Bettina Booker of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 will be held Saturday, October 22nd, 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Zion M.B. Church, 2511 E. Columbus Dr., Pastor Larry Roundtree II with Pastor Antonio Hawkins of Exciting Faith Alive Church, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Bettina Booker was born January 6, 1981 in Tampa, Florida. She attended the local schools of Hillsborough County. She enjoyed reading books, shopping and spending time with her children. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Joe and Bettina R. Booker; aunt, Evelyn Booker; uncles, Michael, Sr. and Forrest Booker, Sr. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Demarcus Booker, Tre'Rohn, Tarohndra, Tarohn and Tariohn Alexander; parents, Marshall Cromuel and Sheryl V. Godfrey; father, Edward Reed, Sr.; step-parents, Fred Godfrey and Cheryl Reed; brothers, Edward C. Reed, Jr. Michael Reed and Ryan Melvin; sisters, Erica C. Reed, Shavonne Reed, Andrea Moore, Marsha Cromuel, Shemeca Walker, Cadedra Ware, Cherveronica Young and Shantana Johnson; aunts, Shelia Booker, Cecelia Cambridge (Joseph) and Gloria Smith; nieces, Ariyanah Jones, Symia Melvin and Alyse Carter; nephews, Malachi Reed, Caiden Montgomery, Carter Jones, Ryan Melvin, Jr., Marquice Gordon and Michael Reed, Jr.; cousins, Cecelia Booker Garvin (Joseph), Steven Powell, Ashley Pierce, Angelic Booker, Darius Pierce, Chaval Booker, Michael, Jr. and Forrest Booker, Jr; special friends, the Cambridge, Trotman and Penny families, Sharisa Smith, Franchon, Rita, Sheba and Carla; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 21st from 5-8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
