April 19, 1956 – February 27, 2024
Bishop Betty Anderson Dorsey was a pillar of her community, counselor, and friend to many. She touched many lives in the years that the lord allowed us to have with her.
As the Bishop of Word of God Ministry Church, she is also survived by her many spiritual children, sisters, and brothers in the Lord whom she held dear to her heart. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19.
She passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024, in Ruskin, Florida. She was born on April 19, 1956, to Willie James Anderson and Cathleen Horne Anderson. Her pride and joy were her children with whom she spoke frequently and expressed to all who would listen how proud she was of them. She is survived by her daughters: Crystal Dorsey, Ashley Dorsey, Ryneishia Mungo, and Marlis Mungo; son, Jamal Anderson; grandchildren, Silas Dorsey, Aurora Dorsey, Addison Dorsey, Alivia Dorsey, Anna Mungo, Talyah Mungo, Maritza Mungo, Leila Mungo, and Meghan Anderson; sisters, Shirley Anderson and Jacquelyn Anderson Burston; brothers, Willie James Anderson, Jr., Michael Anderson, Frankie Anderson and Billy Anderson; godchildren, Elder Angel Ferguson, Anzlee Arline, and Zachariah Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and other relatives.
