Betty was born March 22, 1938 in Greensboro, Florida. She later moved to South Florida where she met and married her husband Warren Pelt. They settled in Tampa, Florida in the early 60's. She was a Christian, a devoted wife and mother of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her former husband Warren Pelt, daughter Christine Pelt, parents Johnny and Charlotte Jones, brothers Raymond and Kasey Jones. She leaves to cherish her precious memories eleven children, Halsey Pelt (Assiran), Edd Lee Pelt, Charlotte J. Pelt (Alfred Williams), Ada Mae Pelt-Washington (Nathaniel), Equilla Weaver Clarksville, TN, Betty Sue Turner (Coley), Betty Warren Smith (Curtis), Paul Pelt, Millie Pelt-Hills (Latrius), Warren Pelt Jr., and Devin Pelt (Charmaine) Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Minyon Williams, Felnicia Williams-Mosley (Willie), Shenque Smith, Curtis Smith II (Dawn), Crystal Smith, Kevin R. Sage, China, Atrayal Brown, Bianca Brown, Jamila Weaver, Clarksville, TN, Ernest Weaver II, Clarksville, TN, Alexsia Burks, Alecia Martin (Ryan) Hinesville, GA, Christina, Travis, Zavous Washington, Gainesville, FL, Ashira, Tyrell, and Jerome; great-grandchildren: Isayah David-Warren and Zaniyah, Jamaal, and Taji Imari, and Jada, Charayal (Nino), Mijah, Quintin, Diavion, Serenity, Renae, Nicholas Warren, Christina, and Ernest II, and Isla; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
