Betty Helena
Robertson
March 3, 1950 – November 2, 2022
Deaconess Betty Helena Hollinger-Robertson, affectionately nicknamed "Betty Boop", found her eternal rest with the Lord. She was born in Blakely, Georgia, March 3, 1950, to parents Robert and Alma Hollinger. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and a graduate of Middleton Senior High School, class of 1968. She continued her education in business at the University of Tampa. She was employed at Border Dairy until the early nineties. She continued her employment at Coca-Cola until retirement in 2013. She was joined in holy matrimony to Luarthur Robertson and to that union two sons were born; Luarthur Robertson, Jr., and Keldrick Robertson. She began her Christian journey at an early age. She joined Peace Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized under the leadership of Reverend J.C. Goins. She was a member of several ministries in the church, including the choir, Finance Committee, Women Ministry, the Missions Ministry, and Church Treasury are just a few. Her family was the very soul of her life, she shared many hours hanging out with her grandchildren. She loved the Peace Baptist children as if they were her own. She truly exemplified Christian love to all she met whether family, co-workers or friends. Most of all she loved Jesus Christ. She worked in the church until her health began to fail. She will surely be missed.
