Betty Jean Tolbert was born December 8, 1959, in Tampa, Florida to the late Roy Tolbert, Sr. and Rebecca Pollard. She graduated from Malcolm X Shabazz High School in Newark, New Jersey. Betty had returned home 7 years ago and was employed with Tampa Bay Academy School. She enjoyed shopping, going to the movies, and spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and family. Her memories will be cherished and missed by her son, Feshawn Northern; grandchildren, Feshawn, Jr., Wisdom and Hasanti; 4 sisters, Becky White, Diane Tolbert-Sanders, Catherine Tolbert and Patricia Booker; 1 brother, Roy Tolbert, Jr.; step-mother, Charlie Mae Tolbert; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and sorrowing friends and co-workers.
