Homegoing Service for Mrs. Beverly Jean Coachman Turner of Tampa, who passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015, will be held on Thursday, December 30th 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Rev. Michael Hopkins, officiating. The interment will be held in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Mrs. Beverly Jean Coachman Turner was born January 15, 1956, to the late Mancy and Myra Coachman in Donalsonville, Georgia. She moved to Tampa, with her parents at a young age where she attended the public schools of Hillsborough County including Middleton High School and graduated from Leto High School in 1973. She met and married the late MacArthur Turner, to this union one child was born Katrina Michelle Turner. She was employed at St. Peter Claver Daycare until her health began to fail. After a long lengthy illness she was called home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and grandparents, Willis Coachman, Lula Akins, Lucille Graham and David Curry; sisters, Linda Gilyard and Sharon Frazier; brother-n-law, Andrew Frazier and nephew, Reginall Gilyard. She leaves precious and loving memories wither her daughter, Katrina Michelle Turner; grandson, A'Monte L. Thomas; brothers, Ronald B. Coachman and Gregory A. Coachman (Devita); nieces, Yolanda Brock, Sharvettye Blackwell (Marquel) Grenecia, Gerbreta and Gherrica Coachman; nephews, Eric Gilyard, Anddrikka Frazier (Rena), Aleo Frazier (Tiffany); aunts, Yvoncile Clinch, Yvonne Freeman (Willie Fred), Hazel Rambean, Amma Graham, Dororthy Dix Mosley (Albert); uncles, Howard Coachman, Willie "Bubba" Coachman, and Wayne Coachman (Jackie); special cousins, Eddie Ray (Mary), Michael Graham and Ricky Smith; brothers-n-law, Andrew Turner and Joe Turner (Patricia); sisters-in-law, Johnnie Mae Calloway, Mavene Shields, Mary Freeman (William); special friends, Sabrina Christie, Darlene Hopkins (Rev. Michael), Vivian Matthews (Nathaniel), Harriet Davis (Eddie) and Kitty Jones (Gerald); a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins friends and extended family, the Tolberts and godmother, Everlena Smith. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 30th from 4-7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Thursday for the service.
